My Work

Innovative Capstone Project

This project, has three components to it, a written deliverable, presentation, and an accountability artifact This project addresses a real-world communication issue. I researched about conflict resolution and came up with tools for presidents, directors, managers, etc. to use to not only stop the conflict in the workplace, but to build a strong culture amongst the company.

TED Talk Presentation

In this Industry Issue TED Talk, I discuss the leadership crisis in the Army and why this type of communication serves as a dangerous liability to our soldiers and to national security. This Ted Talk not only highlights good statistics that prove my point but also aims to help the Army come up with a way to better our leaders. Watch the video to understand how the United States Army's leaders and communication clash together if not fixed.

Writing Samples

Here, you can find a selection of my writing samples that reflect my four years at the University of Tampa. Each "Explore" Tab has a different writing sample.

Compilation Collection

This writing sample is about the Strain on Romantic Jealousy. I created this to examine the experiences and responses to romantic jealousy among college students from ages 18 to 24 years old. A key finding from this paper is that over 50 percent of participants experienced jealousy in past or current relationships.

This writing sample investigates whether young adults adopt their parents conflict management styles. I created this to help young adults figure out their conflict styles but to also see if they have the same ones as their parents. A key finding that was found was that all matched cases were between mother and daughter cases.

This writing sample is about the Theory of Implicit Conflict and Explicit change. The purpose of this paper is to understand conflict and to figure out my own conflict styles, while relating it to certain theories such as the Human Relations Theory.
